The 34rd Rencontres Internationales de Harpes Celtiques
\nwelcome you from the 12th to the 16th of July 2017 in Dinan<\/span><\/p>\n

Un instrument vibratile, voluptueux, imm\u00e9diatement  reconnaissable.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Un instrument qui chante la Celtie, qui scande le jazz, ou encore qui glissande<\/em> le mandingue, avec des rires derri\u00e8re les cordes ou  des chaudes larmes sous les gammes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9, audace et ouverture sont les trois cl\u00e9s du succ\u00e8s des Rencontres.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’int\u00e9r\u00eat de la harpe ne se limite pas \u00e0 sa sonorit\u00e9 unique ; accompagnant le chant ou soliste dans un groupe ou un orchestre, la harpe a plus d’une couleur \u00e0 son arc-en-ciel. En 34 ans de \u00ab\u00a0rencontres internationales\u00a0\u00bb, elle a montr\u00e9 ses multiples visages. \u00c9num\u00e9rer ses interpr\u00e8tes est aujourd’hui impossible. Du Belfast Harp orchestra \u00e0 Arianna Savall en passant par l’orchestre de Ta\u00efwan ou Alan Stivell, la harpe nous a offert quelques unes des plus belles pages musicales dinannaises. La fabuleuse histoire commence en 1984 o\u00f9 la harpe en herbe h\u00e9site encore. Six ann\u00e9es plus tard, on l’entendait accompagner la chanteuse am\u00e9ricaine de rythm’n’blues D\u00e9borah Henson Conant. Aujourd’hui, c’est clair pour tout le monde : la harpe est contemporaine. Les Rencontres savent ce qu’elles veulent et ce qu’elles ne veulent pas. Les harpistes  et harpeurs invit\u00e9s m\u00ealent \u00e9motion et humour, swing et spleen, ternaire et binaire, rythme africain et \u00e2me celte. Le bonheur ? C’est une d\u00e9cision \u00e0 prendre….et \u00e0 partager! \u00c0 travers les stages, les ateliers, les conf\u00e9rences, les animations et les concerts, vous vivrez la formidable \u00e9pop\u00e9e de cette \u00ab\u00a0barque de vie\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s an instrument which sings the \u201cCeltie\u201d, which chants the jazz or even which \u201cglissande\u201d the Mandinka, with laugh behind the strings or behind tears under the scales. Creativity, boldness and opening are the success\u2019 three keys of the Rencontres.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The interest of the harp is not limited to its unique sonority; accompanying the song or soloist in a band or an orchestra, the harp has more than one strings to its rainbow. In 34 years of \u201crencontres internationals\u201d, she showed many faces. Nowadays, we can\u2019t count all of its performers. From the Belfast Harp Orchestra to Arianna Savall going through the Orchestra of Taiwan or Alan Stivell, the harp offered us some of its beautiful musical pages of Dinan. The fabulous history begins in 1984 where the harp is still hesitating. Six years later, we heard it accompanying the American rhythm\u2019n\u2019blues singer Deborah Henson Conant. Today, it\u2019s clear to everyone: the harp is contemporary. The Rencontres knows what they want and what they don\u2019t want. Harpists and guests \u201charpeurs\u201d mix feelings and humor, swing and spleen, ternary and binary, African rhythm and Celtic souls. Happiness? It is a decision to make\u2026and to share! Through masterclasses, workshops, conferences, entertainments and concerts, you will live the astounding epic of this \u201cship of life\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n
